Location
The Anantara Desert Islands Resort & Spa is situated on the private game reserve of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder and first president of the United Arab Emirates. The Sir Bani Yas Island is 87 square kilometers and offers visitors a variety of animals and nature experiences.
This luxurious hotel is the only hotel on the island. Enjoy the absolute silence, but also the many ways making your holiday active in the free nature. During your stay at the hotel, you can enjoy guided jeep or mountain bike tours in the game reserve, take a kayak trip through the mangrove forests, hiking and other activities. The distance to the Abu Dhabi International Airport is 250 km. Abu Dhabi city, you can drive to Jebel Dhanna to go and continue to fly directly to the island by boat or with a small plane from the airport of Abu Dhabi to Sir Bani Yas island. The transfer time is approximately 3 hours by car and by plane, approximately 1 hour.
Accommodation
The elegant hotel complex with an Oriental design has been completed in November 2008 and offers luxury rooms, suites and beach villas. For the gastronomic pleasures selected several top restaurants with a la carte dishes of local and international cuisine. The beautiful pool area offers a unique view of the Gulf and provides pure relaxation with a spa.
